It's funny the habits we devolve over the years or taught that may not mean a hill of beans to anything.
For me back in the 70's reloading with my dad he always ran his brass into the FL sizer twice. Once turn it 180deg and then again. I was only 10 and asked him why he did that. His answer was consistency as you never knew if it went in straight the first time.
To this day I still set my FL die to run it in twice.
