Oh contrary mon ami!

The very last remaining Blockbuster store in the entire world is very much alive and thriving right here in River City!
It has turned into a tourist destination, and we see tourists taking selfies outside the store daily. It's now a local icon.
Don't believe everything seen on the internet!

Still had C-Rations through 79-82. Went on FTDY to Compete in the Winston P. Wilson Combat Pistol Matches (M1911A1s for MPs) after winning our Sectional, Regional and then State Matches, and the Air Force SPs shared what was either LRPs or the first of the MREs we ever saw. Our logistics advance party had two vehicular breakdowns in convoy, leaving us with just our Competition gear, duffles, and ammo to make it to Little Rock on time.
We did very well there and advanced to FORSCOM at Ft. Riley.
Our Air Force Guys never paid a cent on a bar tab that Friday after the Awards Ceremony.
Truly some of the Best Troops we encountered in our travels on the circuit!
Memorable years, indeed!
