Leveling the A&D FX-120i

I left mine on, it's still on after 6 yrs. I dust it with a small swiffer brush and occasionally remove it and wipe it with a soft cloth and warm water. Helps keep dust and grime off of the scale it'self. Scale still looks and works like new.
Good deal then. For some reason I can’t leave it on there for the looks and didn’t know if it would cause static.

I emailed Cambridge about the plastic cover. They said it was customer preference, but usually no, and removed when using the scale.
I've been using the scale with the cover on and haven't had any issues. Just thought I'd keep it protected and if I ever sell it, I can sell a scale that looks new. I just got it though and have no intentions of selling it...but who knows down the road.

Makes perfect sense, I was just curious what Cambridge opinion was on it. Everyone is good to go either way. Mine is going to live in a MTM ammo crate with foam in the bottom and top anyway. I load in a garage that gets dusty at times, so it needs to be protected when not in use.CAD81DF5-7FB1-48A1-B00D-8547F8909A9C.jpeg
