Level bubble on scope?

I don't know if I'm considered a good shooter, but I have them on all my competition and tactical rifles. Shooting from a front rest/rear bag combination it helps level the rifle, as it does with a bi-pod, or even off sandbags. This is imperative if your trying to shoot small groups, especially at the longer yardages.

I use them on my F-Class Rifles, I don't have them mounted to the scope, but on the rifle. When I set the scope up I use a plumb to level the scope vertical crosshair after I know the rifle is level.
Setting up on the line I use the level to get it set, then check between shots if I think there's been any movement. I usually never have to reset as the rifle doesn't change postion.

I have one on my benchrest scope and I believe it has helped my score. If you work with angles, elevations, verticale lines and whatnot you'll do alright. I did. Where I've been shooting at out to 1000 yards I was told it would raise my score and it has. Worth the investment.

I have them on all my long range rifles, a small cant at the rifle will bove the bullet considerably at 1000 yds. And they are cheap!

I've got the Scopelevel on my 3 rifles.
Savage in 6 Dasher for 600/1000 yard matches--just makes sense to level the rifle before shooting.
AR-15, and Tikka T3 -- level used when the target does not breath/have a pulse. I'll use the level on a prairie dog town w/ the AR and Savage.
Great shooting aid in my opinion.

I use a spirit level on my 308 Winchester, and a Microlevel on my 6mm BR. The Microlevel is an electronic level that is accurate to within .5 degrees. Based on articles and ballistic tables, a six degree cant at 500 yards will put you off about 4.5" left or right. You will also have roughly the same amount of extra drop at that range. The website for Microlevel is:
www.microlevel.biz/
The website for the spirit level that is much cheaper than the microlevel is:
www.scopelevel.com

I have a level on almost every rifle i own but recently just tried the sinclair offset level. INCREDIBLE!!!! I put it on a 12x42 nightforce on the down range side of the elevation turret and can see it without lifting my head from the shooting position. You can look at it just as easily as checking your flags. its also not in the way of your elevation turret. haven't found the disadvantage of it yet.
