Leupold questions

Does any one happen to know if leupold or maybe even another company change the color of a scope? Lets say you had a silver matte scope and you wanted it to be matte black.

I am going to have leupold put on some target turrets on one of my scopes and thought if they could change the color I would have that done as well. If not I will take a rattle can to it.

They have a custom shop that can do pretty much what ever you want mechanically or exterior color,s). Some very sweet two-tone flames, etc. etc..

Leupold Does have a custom shop. They only do custom work on brand new scope,special order) They will replace the tube a this point you could have any finish you like. The cost for this a couple of years ago was $100.00. You would have to check to see if price has gone up like most of their other services have. So it can be done it just might cost more than it is worth. Call Leupold at,503)526-1400

You can send an existing scope back for work - turrets, reticle etc.

Colour change, not 100% sure


I'd tape it and bomb it with a can myself... have a look on Snipershide.. guys doing it all the time... and with some big $$ glass.
