Guys,
I just got a leupold scope 4.5-14-40 lr #55118. After opening the wrapper. I saw a drill mark or divit in the scope body.
It is in front of the turret housing. If you are looking down on the scope. At the elevation turret. The divit would be at about a 7 o'clock or 8 o'clock position. The divit does not go all the way through the body maybe 1/2 way.
Is this something leupold started doing recently? what is this?
Should it be shipped back to leupold?
I have never seen this on a leupold scope. Sold them and owned them also.
Thank you for any help.
