Leupold Mark AR 3-9x40 Mil Dot

anyone have any info good or bad on this scope...im looking at the mildot reticle for a .223 bolt gun. i looked thru it at the store and was impressed..but all scopes impress me inside the store..anyone have any real world expirence with this scope

Just bought one 2 weeks ago,very impressed my the quality of the glass.
I think it will be a good low light scope,dusk dawn hunting.
At the moment I've just stuck it on .22 rim fire,even though it's only 9x power I getting a better sight picture than my 20x power tasco.
I don't own a .223 so I can't comment on the bullet drop on the elevation knob,but I own .243 and I am thinking about trying some 3100fps loads to try the bullet drop knob out.

Only down side 1/2 moa clicks=

1 click= 1/2 inch at 100 yards
1 click= 3 inch at 600 yards
But I can live with,good enough for deer.

At end of the day it's Leupold and you get a life time guarantee,ok its not as good my mk4 Leupold but It's quarter of the price.
