Update on my scope sent in for repairs: The scope now totally works. I got it back today and the illuminated reticle works good. After sending it in 3 times it finally works. That's all.

Funny, people mention the guys come to the companies rescue during the times that others bash them for product issues. Isn't that the way it's suppose to work ? I've owned Leupold scopes for most of my shooting lifetime. I've had ZERO issues with any of them. Like anything else, just wait and there will be issues with a some highly rated precision scopes. Recently a couple forums posted of Nightforce scopes being less than Perfect. There you have it, not even Nightforce is without problems. Sometimes it takes just that report to knock some people off there high seated pedestal. Nightforce just will not admit scope problems. They'd rather say it's anything but there scopes. I love Nightforce and will admit there superiority in quality glass over Leupold but will not and cannot kick Leupold for less than a perfect track record. All scopes have the potential to fail in one way or another regardless of make or model. I'll continue to buy and use Leupold and Nightforce.
