I've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 35 or so Leupold products in my safe. They've never failed me in any way. Recently I was in my local pawn shop when I spied a used set of their mini-bino's, 10X x 22mm, made in Portland USA. Haggled the price from $200 to $150, got them out of the store at home and noticed they would not focus properly.
So, knowing how stellar the Leupold warranty is, I sent them in for repair. A few days later I got a notice via email that they cannot be repaired, but they'd replace them with a set of their 10X32mm Pro Guide BX-4 bino's that retail for $600. I of course consented, received the new glass in two days after I told them I was leaving for the high country in a few days. So they not only replaced the mini's that cost me a buck fifty with a $600 glass, but rushed it out the door so I'd have it in time for my wilderness trip. This is service "Above and Beyond" in my book, and the next time I'm contemplating sporting glass, Leupold will again be my first choice.
So a BIG thank you to Leupold.....you guys really know what customer service is!
