This year I’ve harvested 3 pigs in TX, a 10 Point Whitetail in Wyoming, an Antelope in Wyoming and several does.
I’ve had several hunting guns but I can’t think of a better well rounded gun than this one. Easy to carry, more than manageable recoil, great accuracy and stops them in there tracks.

Im driving 180gr TTSX at 3005 fps in a 25".
It's at 100% 1st shot kills.

Deer rig, I'm in a straight-wall state. Ruger 77/44 with an older Leupold 1.5-4 shotgun scope (heavy-plex). Other than the trigger, its bone stock...

Old Savage 16 "weather-warrior" in 7/08 with an older Leupold varmint-plex 3-9x40. Action trued, re-crowned & barrel shank cleaned up on the lathe (looked like it was cut with a sawzall out of the box). SSS bolt handle, Devcon bedded. It does 3/4" with 139 gr Horns now...Its one of my switch rigs, have barrels in .243, .308, .338 Fed & an extra 7/08 barrel when this one goes.
