Lee F/L dies

For my reloading I plan on using the Lee F/L die but not the seater die that came with the kit and prob replace with a Redding comp, and add a Lee collet die. My question is, can the F/L die be set to work the body only or does it work the neck as well regardless how you set the die up? Many talk good about the redding body die but what is the consensus on the Lee F/L die for shooting for points?

Any FL die will work on the neck too.....
Reddings body die will not touch the necks at all.....
A FL die should work OK for a factory chamber most of the time, but a custom chamber will more than likely need a bushing die......
You can set up a FL die to size partway down on the neck but then it only sizes part way down the case, and after a few shots the brass will be hard to chamber....
Check your Lee seater die out for bullet runout before you spend a lot of money that may not be needed on another seater die................
