Lee crimp die question. Can I use a 223 die for 6x45?

Does anyone have enough experience with a Lee factory crimp die to know if the 223 die may also work for a 6x45? I wonder if there's enough "play" or a big enough opening in the crimp section to allow use of a 223 crimp die to be used on 6x45 cases? Thanks in advance.

I just tried it on a case and it works with mine. It is a little tight with a bullet seated. You will probably have to change how far you put the FC Die into your press so you don't over crimp but it looks like it will work.

Thanks for that! I appreciate it. :) I would just by a Lee factory crimp die in 6x45 but I can't find any in stock anywhere. :(
