Even the marlin forum recommends crimping of a 30/30. Also, every manufacturer of 30/30 shells have a crimp. Yes, not every round requires a crimp, but many do. .500 S&W, 30/30, 45/70 and many big bore shells do.

You realize those are chamber dimensions on a test barrel and not the ammunition, right?

Also the crimp is not put on the manufactured case so why would it be on the print? Hard to convince people of many things. Some guys on this website still think 750F is some kind of standard to anneal to.
