308 Crimp Die for 30-30 ?

Can I use a Lee Factory Crimp die for 308Win for Win 30-30 ?

Looks good to me, just double checking the collective knowledge.
I'm not looking for a heavy crimp. just light too moderate on the crimp ring Sierra 150FN.

What are the dies that you have for the 30-30? you may cause the neck to bulge below the crimp with the 308, so go easy and check. a standard 30-30 seating die should crimp. What kind of rifle is this ammo going to be shot in? The lever actions usually require full length sizing.

If you will be using a 308 Lee crimp die to crimp a 30-30, you may come up a little short. It looks like the 30-30 is .040 shorter than the 308. With the 30-30 necks a little long and one of the Redding shell holders that can push the case up an extra .010 you may be able to do it.
