Thats the advantage of buying a beat up used bag in the first place.If you tape it to the bag, when you remove the tape it will leave a mark on the bag. At least mine did and I used 3m tape.

Noooooo!...haha..what a mess...I do have the little bag funnel some place..so maybe not such a big dusty ordeal..I could dump it into a steel mixing bowl (I see your point.).to work the oil back into the leather correct?Remove sand, place in sun, or microwave to warm up. Work in leather conditioner and re-heat. May take several attempts to bring it back.
