This is a public service message. Maybe someone can learn from my mistakes. Reloading my once fired 6BR cases, I used a .22 cal bronze brush with a small amount of fine steel wool threads to brush the necks. Cases were previously cleaned in vibratory media and prepped as normal. Bullets were extremely difficult to seat taking much extra pressure to press in. (FWIW, they loaded easily when seated the first time with new brass). In the past, I have always used a nylon brush of same size as case caliber, eg 284 or 308. I went back and re-brushed with a .243 nylon brush and the bullets then seated smooth as a baby's bottom.
In case someone else feels like experimenting like I did, you may want to reconsider.
