Law abiding citizen in Ca denied ammunition

Happy 4 of July, I decided to go local gun sportsmans Wharehouse and see how many hoops and how long it takes for Ammo purchases. Long story short I was denied. I thought I had enough info for the purchasing of ammunition. I had my current ca drivers license, current hunting license, and current firearm safety certificate. They replied with I need the new real Id or a current passport or a birth certificate. Now I’m going to start the process of getting a new license. This really hurts when you can’t buy ammunition on July 4. Just a angry law abiding citizen complaining.

You know, it's really not that long a drive to Phoenix.
 
I can buy all the reloading supplies I want here. One store makes you sign for gun powder name,date, type,quantity, and address. This is at Guns fishing and more in Vacaville Ca. I only buy from them if I many to try a pound of powder out for a new round. I reload most of ammunition but it’s nice to buy some if I get lazy.

Oh, this went south faster than expected. Where’s the popcorn?:cool:

I talked to a guy from California while on vacation. His biggest complaint was all the new Unisex bathrooms. He said it’s really hard to do his “business” with all the women yacking outside the stall door!:mad:

That's very interesting (the requirement that you need a Real ID...) According to the CRPA, some ageny (I believe the CA DOJ) said that was not the case. check the CRPA website for accurate info.
