Unpacked my 6BRDX that came in from Tom Meredith in a new Shehane ST1000 Tracker fiberglass stock. We loaded up 10 rounds for a function test as the light was fading Thursday. We shot two sighters and then these two groups. Something tells me I don't have to do a lot of load development...
The 105gr Lapua Scenar Ls are the most consistent bullets I have ever measured (for weight and base to ogive length). They are very easy to tune. Top group is .002" past "first touch" measured with a Hornady tool. Bottom group is about .008" past first touch.

Here are groups measured with On-Target:
Did my best to measure this with On-Target software. But at this level one pixel on the screen makes a difference. But the top is definitely a zero group, and Joe had 4 of 5 in a low zero. (Joe was mad when his second of FIVE shots leaked low when he shouldered it a bit too much -- he did call that). NOTE: The bullet holes appear smaller than 0.243 because the orange sticker seals up a little after the bullet zips through. But trust me, this gun shoots SMALL.
Gun: Stiller Viper Drop-Port, Brux 30" 1:8" twist 0.236-land 4-groove barrel. Shehane ST1000 fiberglass stock. Pillar bedded by Tom Meredith. Chambered by Mike Davis with Manson .270-neck Reamer.
Load: 6BRDX, 32.5 grains Varget weighed by ChargeMaster, CCI 450 Primers, 105gr Lapua Scenar L bullets (right out of box -- no sorting), Bullets seated .002 in lands (top) and .008 in lands (bottom), Whidden BRDX FL bushing die, and Whidden seater die. Brass turned to 0.267 on 21st Century mini-lathe for 0.270 chamber. No brass prep other than trim to length and minimal chamfer with 45-deg tool. Cases 3X fired.
Approx. 100 rounds through barrel. No brush has ever entered the barrel, no petroleum-based solvents, no abrasives, no oils. Wipe-Out and Patch-out only. "Break-in" consisted of 4 rounds then wet patches, repeated 3 times.
