Rod, it's an amazing place. I'm writing the next piece now about the .338 Lapua Magnum loading and testing facility there. Oh, they do .50 BMG too...

GermanI haven't ck'd the web site (Lapuas) but can a person ship a rifle (22 RF) for them to do testing ? Would there be ANY price break beyond what is available for case lots if done this way ?

CJ, you can bring some ammo to compare to the current product, but the objective of the facility is to put the new stuff in your hands. Pricing is through the dealer you select (wherever you normally buy). You pay that price to Lapua, they pay the dealer and distributor. They're trying to make sure that their dealer network is not cut out of the process, that's crucial to long-term viability of the brand. If you don't have a regular dealer, try Bruno's or some of the other mail order places, they'll usually have great prices. All you need to do is inform Lapua of what dealer you want the purchase to be booked through, you take delivery on-site.
