I have necked down 30-06 Lapua brass to make 25-06. The neck thickness increases which necessitates turning them. I also do my normal brass prep like uniforming primer pockets etc. After these steps are completed you end up with some great 25-06 brass. As a side note, I attempted to neck down some once fired 30-06 factory loads that resulted in collapsing the shoulders.Absolutely! I use it in .260 and .308 and wish they made it in 25.06 because I would use it in that too. It does cost more but I really do think it's worth it, it's very consistent and last a long time.
