LAPUA BR FLASH HOLE IS .062" NOT .059"

So, I guess those who B&M about Alpha 6 Dasher flash holes will have to find other issues now? :D
I think, over the last 43+ years of reloading and competing in all types of matches, my result is always mostly the result of my state of mind.

Bumping this older thread... I just got a blue box. I had no idea about the flash hole size. What primers are you guys having luck with??

I tried my Wolf SRMs in 308 Palma, and they were too mild. I don't think I'll even bother trying them in 6.5

What/how did you try and what did you observe?

The ones I see being used would include just about every brand and part number you could name.

These days, primers are in such short supply and high demand that folks are using whatever they can get.

Flash hole diameter is one aspect, what about length or base thickness variation, uniform both if there's any concerns.

CCI 450, CCI 400, CCI BR-4, and Rem 6 1/2 all work fine. When you say the Wolf was too mild, what did you see?

What kind of load development did you do when switching from large primer Lapua brass to small primer Lapua brass?
