Lapua 6MM Bullets

I don't seem to see much info on the 6mmBR using Lapua bullets??
Mostly just Berger and some match king recomendations.
Whats up with Lapua's ??

Lapua makes excellent bullets. My shooting team and I did some testing a few years ago on the new 105 gr. bullets that they brought to market. The were accurate shooters right out of the box and comparable to Berger out to 600 yds. Beyond that, their lower BC became an issue. Still accurate, just needed more correction at the longer ranges.

I played with them in 6mm as well as 6.5 and while they shot pretty good I found they favor really snug bore diameters. Could be their metric manufacturing or something else? If you have a tight barrel bore they may just be a solution.

They will shoot bug holes at 100 to 500 yds but fall apart at 1000. Don’t know why. I use what I have for fire forming brass.

Don't be afraid to try some of the custom bullets too. Just run some ladders and see what your barrel likes.
