I’ve given up on Lapua even tho I live 7 miles from the test center in Marengo. I started shooting Eley and I have no plans on shooting Lapua anytime in the near future.

I started out shooting Eley but the Lapua feeds and shoots better out of my rifles with reamer I use .

Basically all of the case quantities are on backorder with resellers for months to come. They won't be increasing their production volume overall (or risk losing quality which is the reason shooters seek out Lapua). It's my theory that all of the centerfire shooters who got into PRS/NRL due to cost and scarcity of centerfire components have created a similar supply issue in the match rimfire ammo game.

I've seen brick quantities for sale online, on occasion but they go very fast and tend to be priced high.

So your options are to get in the (long) line for testing or get in a (long) backorder line with a major reseller. Or buy bricks where you can. There is no good way for a shooter just getting into match rimfire to quickly get through that.

Elevated Gunworks seems to have SK more often than others. I bought a case of Long Range Match from them a couple of months ago.

Get on waiting lists, send your rifle to test centers, have your shooting buddies watch for you, and keep your eyes and ears open. When you have the opportunity to buy, do it by the case and don't hesitate.

If I see a case, I will buy it. I can always shoot it, or I can help out local folks who need a brick or three.

I shoot CenterX, SK LRM, and SK Std+, and I'm flush. I shoot matches every weekend. I can't be the only one buying ammo.
