Lapua 222 brass

How come Lapua 222 brass is avail in the UK but not USA??? I’m thinking of trying to bring some back

As I recall, military cartridges are illegal there. This means many people shoot 222 in Europe since 556\223 is illegal. I think you can also get a 222 Tikka there but they don't import it here.

No- the TR/FTR guys would be a bit miffed without the 308. Some European countries had that rule - Italy comes to mind - but I'm not certain that it still applies with EU laws. Laurie on the forum, could probably enlighten us.

It's likely that the UK distributor has an order in for a long time and just got a delivery.

It's available in Canada from several retailers. I received 200 cases (2 boxes) of Lapua brass several months ago and I just confirmed the retailer still has it in stock. Not sure why it's not available in the US (US tariffs? Lack of demand?).
