I made a 129 gr 6.5 with a small HP out of one of my dies which has a similar ogive to the Lapua. Shot it in my 260 Rem and it consistently grouped extremely well.Has anyone tried these and have an opinion on their performance vs. Bergers or ???
Thanks
There's just so many higher bc bullets out there at better pricing. It is a good bullet, shot 3500+ out of a 6.5x47, used .570 for bc and it worked. Thanks; now I want to try them in the creedmoor...
GO FOR WHAT GIVES YOU THE BEST ACCURACY NOT THE LOWEST PRICE. WHAT HAVE WE GAINED BY USING A BULLET WITH A BETTER BC AT A LOWER PRICE, BUT IT GIVES US BIGGER GROUPS?There's just so many higher bc bullets out there at better pricing. That's smoking !!!

HOWEVER, IF YOU FIND A BULLET THAT GIVES YOU ALL OF THE ABOVE, GO FOR IT.
WHEN I SHOT NRA HIGH-POWER, A FEW SHOOTERS WOULD SPEND BIG BUCKS TO HAVE A 1/4 MINUTE RIFLE BUILT, AND THEN SHOW UP AT A MATCH WITH BALL AMMUNITION OR HAND LOADED AMMO WITH BALL BULLETS AND BLAME THE RIFLE FOR THEIR POOR SCORES.
In my case, I wasn't paying 48 a box for more even though the rifle was still shooting. I rebarreled to 6.5slr and just took possession of it this am. Going to shoot it here in a bit with 140 eld m's at 30 a box.
Ya I know. Couldn't help it. Chrono issues if he got that number. Still, an impressive round count.I think he shot 3,500 bullets, not 3,500fps...
