L.E. Wilson equipment, what do I need?

Hi, everyone. I've lurked on this site for ages and decided to joint he forum when I decided to embark on a custom .284 LR rig. I am looking to start doing all of my hand loading (.308, .280, .284) with Wilson products, but I am running in to a wall. What all do I need? Wilson stuff needs to be pieced together for a more custom loading experience, it seems.

I understand I need a small arbor press--no problem. But those who reload with Wilson products, can I get a "no BS" list of things which I need to buy to complete the setup? The OAL sizing is self-explanatory, so really I guess I am getting confused with is the various components that go in to the bullet seating stack of tools.

Thank you in advance!

Jason

I use the seating dies the most. I have the neck sizing dies with bushings but use Redding full length bushing dies more often.

You can use all wilson but it is alot slower with their sizing die.I think terry hit the nail on the head using a redding s type full length die and order the exact bushing you need to get your neck tension perfect. You can do the same with wilson, but it is way more work intensive.

You can use the Wilson case trimmer, and the appropriate case holders for you calibers, the seating dies (I get along with the standard seaters just fine, I just record the total length of the stem and cap as a reference for the dies' settings.) Several arbor presses are available. You might find one that has a way of measuring seating force interesting, K&M makes one. I don't recommend neck dies. Are you barrels factory or custom? The reason that I ask is that if they are custom, and you have the prospect of the same reamer being used for subsequent barrels, you might want to invest in custom, bushing FL dies. There are a couple of options if you are interested.
