Kelbly Panda Firing Spring binding

Yes sir. Just got the spare parts kit, comes with pin and springs. I didn’t know if it’s just tight in the threads. My other actions don’t have that with fresh springs. Not sure if I’m missing something or if it’s normal.

FWIW, the O.D. of my spare springs (used and new) measure from .397 to .406.

The crew at Kelbly's will get you taken care of.

Good shootin' :) -Al

The springs will rub when your sliding them inside of bolt body. I've got a brand new 6PPC bolt and it does it. When it's all the way inside, it isn't going to be rubbing. Just think about how little movement there actually is. Your firing pin fall. As long as the spring isn't binding on the firing pin, the cocking piece and pin moves freely in shroud. It's funny that after all these years, Kelbly's still doesn't cut all those relief cuts in shroud that are supposed to be the magic fix for those "broken" parts. I think the magic is pulling dollars out of your wallet.
