Kauger Arms BRIII action

I can speak for Kauger actions. They are some of the best out there. And he is making improvements that shooters ask for. You'll not find a better person than Tim Kauger to deal with nor a better product for the money that he is producing. I am putting together one of his BR111 now, hope to have it ready in a few weeks for testing. They are top of the line, period.

Any benefit to a separate bolt head from the bolt body other than east caliber changes? Any down sides vs a 1piece bolt?
Not really. You can swap bolt heads, so I guess that's a benefit. Even though it's not a floating bolt head, you still have a tiny amount of play there so that does help lug contact. With the new pin design I'm not sure I see a down side either.

When I order a action, It will be for 6bra .
Should I order the BR l, or get the BRlll
Well, back to actions... the guys with Remington tang style stocks will stick to the 1. The 3 fits br tang style stocks. The other question is what you prefer in ignition. I feel the 3 is a big improvement in ignition and bolt closure feel. Obviously the Wilson's and Larry Archer are very happy with the originals so I dont think you can make a bad call. I just like what I like.

That's the main info. I didn't know I needed.
I don't really want to buy another stock. I got 4 700 stocks. And all my barrels are 1.062x16.
If I get a Br 1 or Br 2. , Could I be able to put my trigger tec, and head space my barrel and be set?

The bolt heads are about 85 dollars each, a lot less then a extra bolt. You can get a cone bolt head or semi cone bolt head for a repeater. I’m kind of excited about this action. If it works out for VFS competition, I might try one for short range.
