Kauger Arms BRIII action

why not match the threads of the market leader and make it easy to switch/swap barrels around?

Remington threads sounds great to me!!!

I really wish they made a flat faced bolt so it would be Remington prefit compatible. They would sell more actions for prefit buyers than they would for not. IMHO.

The PRS repeater is going to be my next action.

I was going to start recommending them to my customers. I can make Prefits for these. :)

Oh, now you can make prefits for them... ;^)

I guess I'll just have to order one again.
It'll be a couple months, but most likely in the 6-BR.

Glad to hear you can do this and I won't have to order a blank and go through that. (Insert double smiley)

And yeah, I bought my action last year and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

The advantage is that they will feed BRs from the plastic AICS mags and pretty much any magazine as long as it's at the correct height.

I’m with you, I’m not sure why this thread turned from talk of a great action, to promoting economical prefit barrels.

Wow. Is that what was going on? Really???

It's a big world out there brother. Lots of room for everyone. Some people on this forum really need to learn that. Lots of room in the shooting world for lots of different people.

I was already talking to them before this thread ever came up. Just for your information. I only commented because I agreed that their actions seem like they're awesome and the guys at the company are really cool.

Following this thread since it started. The actions look great and the things that matter seemed to be addressed.
I have everything for a new build for my wife except an action. I was leaning towards a Bat or Borden for this rifle. Would any of you more experienced BR guys believe I would miss/lose out on any accuracy, reliability, smoothness or overall quality do I decide to go with this action.
Thanks

Please tell me what I said wrong?

That is a really good question, and I am looking forward to reading some replies from the guys that are running the Kauger actions now. All I have ever shot are Bat actions, so I’m really looking forward to comparing the two.

I will continue to follow this thread and see what guys are saying. I know the ole reliable actions in the game work well but I am not afraid to be different than the crowd and use something else

I can speak from 3 years experience of shooting one…they flat work!

Mike

I wrote to them and asked if they'd do a muzzle loader specific bolt head. Need more of those out there and if they truly want to build something for everyone they'll need to do it :)

Edit: Adam already responded to my questions and opened the door to this. I feed more info his way. I’ll see where this goes.
Defiance makes the OUTCAST and Borden makes one also so does MESA. I have one of the first Defiance ML actions and its a shooter for sure!
