Just twistin’ in the wind

While shooting a couple IBS fifty yd. 22 targets yesterday, the wind kicked my butt. I was really bearing down, concentrating on my squeeze and follow through. Actually, I was doing fairly well, much better than my last match. I was through ten bulls, shooting 10s and a few Xs. THEN……the wing picked up! All of a sudden 6s, 7s, 8s & 9s we’re taking over my target. I surely admire those who can read and adjust to changing conditions.

Your rifle and ammo can shoot just as well in the wind as it can in the calm. All YOU need to do is practice and shoot sighters.

Even on calm days, i've seen guys setting up 4 wind flags shooting 100 yard bench rest.

I thought they were crazy. Till i saw how much it pushed a 69gr MK from a 223 Rem.
