No affiliation with auction, school or anything. Just stumbled across this listing today and sure would be some nice toys for anyone who thinks that building rifles is both fun and profitable! ;D Sure wish my health was better and I had money
I bought my SB Hvy 10 from a school in Spearfish about 45 miles away. At that time they were moving their machining section to this West Dakota Tech. Don't know if WDT is discontinuing it also and selling out or going to CNC or something else. If these were purchased then they would be 2007 or 2008 models. So they should be excellent condition?
My Hvy 10 is an '82 and I bought it May of 08 IIRC. They had 3 10L's, a 10K or light 10 and a 13". All had virtually no bed wear etc, just some play in the compound and cross slides. I gave $1875 for what I thought was the best one with least wear on compound/cross slide and the most tooling. That being mine had cam lock spindle, drive plate, 10" face plate, steady, 2 follow rests with 1 being new, 3 and 4 jaw chucks, live center and headstock center but none had toolpost, tool holders, drive dogs etc. That was all sold separate. Should be a couple ones selling cheaper with a dozen for sale unless there happens to be a dealer or 2 show up????
