Being a native of LA, I am not accustomed to "cabin fever", so I had to go to the range today. It is a beautiful day....bright sun, 70 degrees, and light southerly wind. My friend Richard Milton bought some bullet making dies from the estate of the late Raymond Brunet. He asked me to test some of these when I got a chance. I loaded the 67 gr. BT bullets with 28,9 grains of my unobtainium powder (50% Lt-32/ 50% Scottish H322). I shot these in Dr. Marsh's rifle (w/13.5 twist Krieger). When I got to the range, I realized that mirage was going to be a problem. James PS, the weather has not been like this...we have had 9 inches of rain the week prior to this clear day. Also, the temperature has been in the upper 20's at night and 40's during the day. The top row of targets (two) were shot with bullets that had been pointed up with Richard's Duetch die. The bottom row was core seated and pointed up w/ Raymond's dies (unknown maker).
