Had A Good Day

Went back home and tended to some family graves today. On the way back, I stopped at this little “Hole In The Wall” gun shop that I had never seen before. Anyway, walked away with a BR rifle in 6PPC built by Hart, along with an extra couple of Hart barrels. Also, picked up (2) 8 lb kegs of N133, 4 lbs of LT-32 (just to try), 6 lbs of Power Pistol, 4 lbs of Long Shot, brass for 9mm, .40 S&W and 30-30. Plus several odds and ends. Everything but primers. All in all a pretty good day. I went home satisfied.

Good for you! Those days don’t come along often.

I’m hoping that this is a sign that things are starting to loosen up some....

Im sure that I walked out with a smile from ear to ear (and a look of disbelief.

wow, you made a nice purchase. Congrat

I think that you bought more powder than most gun shops in NZ have in stock ( well, medium burners anyway)

Nice rifle too.

16 pounds of N133 and 4 pounds of LT32 is equivalent to about 4700 rounds of PPC. You better order a few more barrels while you are at it. No reason to get caught short.

Well that's about $37,000 dollars worth of bling in todays money. Congrats. You couldn't have found that stuff anywhere around here. One pawn shop has a very old M700 ADL 243 in pretty bad condition for a mere $800 Firm. That's pretty ambitious.
