Just had my stock Hydro dipped

Just wanted to post this as others may be thinking of doing the Hydro dip thing to their stock. I called around to see different time line and prices and choice the Maddripper to do my stock for my 30 br. Terry went above and beyond to please me as I am abit fussy, the stock turned out just like I had wanted and am very pleased with the job and would recommend him to any one. I posted a pic and his website to check it out for yourself. I am not affiliated in any way with the Maddipper just posting as his work is very good.IMG_2185.JPG IMG_2189.JPG www.maddipper.com/home.html

Thanks for all the nice replies guys and no the stock is a kelbly SPG stock leftover, I had to add 1 1/2" to the LOP installed pillars and bedded the action, before I had it dipped and turned out great all around

Nice!! I have a carbon fiber mirage shield that would match that stock perfectly:)...what kind is it?

Oops, I completely missed your post #6o_O

hrlincoln, I honestly forget, I have looked at so many samples. maddipper had a helmet with pink letters on it done in this, and that is what I told him I wanted, he has thousands of prints in any design, animals, skulls, flames camo, etc. to many to mention.
The time line and price where right, compared to others and he works with you to please.

Notice the bolt holster.
It was one of mine it now belongs to a real cool looking rifle.
Shoot it well.
:)

Ya Thud,
They are both are great, the two you sold me thanks it was a good deal, the other one is with my Dasher that I shot at a F class last weekend.

nice job but I noticed you have not mentioned cost! basically there are a bunch of hydo-dip shops all over the country that offer really nice jobs. The one I used has a price of $150.00 and he offers hundreds of pattererns. is your guy comparable to the same cost.

That's a good deal, I think its one of the best methods to get a beautiful finish without spending $4-500.00 for custom paint or airbrushing.

the Maddipper website is on the blink, Terry has the IT guys working on it, so give him a couple days to get it figured out, he has thousands of different prints.

have you shot it after it has been dipped? what type of clear coat did they use? does it slide/glide in the bags like a traditional paint/ auto clear coat rifle would?

Yes they did the auto clear and it slides in the bags perfectly, I also have the stockguard tape to protect the finish
