I’ve owned a JJ rest for at least 15 years. Unless it’s been severely abused or dropped I can’t imagine what it would need other than an occasional cleaning and lubricating. It still functions perfectly.
To answer your question, I don’t know of anyone that services these rest.
Disassembly, cleaning and lubing a JJ rest for anyone with moderate mechanical ability and basic hand tools shouldn’t take over one hour.

whats wrong with it ? I have two of them and have acquired a few extra parts. I couldn't imagine anything breaking on it though.
I posted this for a friend and he told me that the problem has been fixed. Thanks for the comments, James
