I shoot free recoil and yes i can se the hit through recoil at 1K at sight in clay birds. This gun set a IBS record last year,so is it good ? oh yea….jim

Jim - Do you shoot at Williamsport. Did you build this after Bruno did the action or did you use a PA smith.

I have never shot at Williamsport only Reade Range in PA. Dave Bruno does my barrels and i do the rest….jim

I just ordered my first BAT, a Dwight Scott Model B. What mods will I need to do to the firing pin? I've also been talking to Ray Bowman and will be ordering the Black/Black Low Boy stock for it.

Steve, i had the firing pin mod. done by Dave Bruno,but i don't think you need it on the B but it doesn't hurt. That is the color of the one in the pics… Did you get the 5/8 lowering option? like the one in the pics?…..jim

Yes I am getting the lowered stock, I believe he slices 3/4 inch off of the bottom. Ray said that is the only way he makes them now. However, I am opting for the polished butt plate. I also need to see if he can round up a Brux barrel for me.

My rifle will look almost exactly like yours; black/black stock, 30 inch tube, Harrell's radial brake, NF scope and all. And of course, a 6 Dasher. Hoping to have it all put together in the next 2 months so it is ready for the 600 yard season.

Steve, Check the classified and the Savageguy has some Brux barrels. Don't be afraid to get 7.83 to 1 twist that is the ones i set the records with,the 8 to 1 is good the other one also ……. jim
