Jewell HVR Reset Spring

The reset spring (Item 10) in a Jewel HVR trigger has a broken extension arm that engages the sear pivot pin (Item 13). Knowing Jewel is no longer operating, has anyone identified a replacement? I’m hoping it is commercially available! Note that the reset spring in a HVR is different than the one used a BR trigger that does not have a safety.

I have some parts. Those springs were made specifically for Jewell. Does it need anything else? I also buy parts triggers if anyone has broken ones.

Just the reset spring. It was functioning just fine until the sear end arm broke off! Never a good sign to find broken metal pieces on the bench under the trigger guard!

Just a guess, but when I was Procurement Manager of the Goodyear Plant here we bought thousands of springs from Century Spring, Lee Spring and Nyswonger Spring. All had offices in Texas and I would bet Arnold had one of them make them for him or bought one of their off the shelf items

Thanks, I’ve been searching their catalog offerings and have yet to identify a direct off-the-shelf replacement. During the search, @AlNyhus posted that they were custom made for Jewel . Most torsion springs do not have 90 degree bends at the end of the extension arms. I’m thinking of buying the closest match, then modify (assuming I can bend an extension arm) to work.
