Not sure where to put this but here goes.
Had changed out a Jewell BR trigger that was originally manufactured without a safety and had worked well on one of my competition rifles. Reading the Jewell manual I read "BR and HVR TRIGGERS with Optional SAFETY" so I figured I could add a safety to the BR trigger. What I learned, in a phone call to Jewell, is that the statement quoted above refers to the safety being an option on the HVR trigger only. The BR trigger is designed for competition bench rest only and does not have a safety option.
I'm not upset about it. No foul inferred. Just wanted to let others know what the statement in the manual means.
