Ivey to offer an MOA version of their adjustable scope base and rings

I was recently looking at the detail specs for the fairly-new, Ivey adjustable scope mount (http://iveyshooting.com/index.php?id_product=16&controller=product) and noticed this one liner, “Civilian models available in MOA correction.“ I contacted Stephen Ivey at Project One LLC, the developer and manufacturer, and asked if there would be an MOA version of the new model. He confirmed that there will be, with adjustment from 0-175 MOA, and at the same pricing as the current milradian models. Timing: July 2016. As a side note, I asked about the function of the 4-lobe knob on the left side of the units. He advised that it is used to lock down the range setting selected using the Adjustment Knob.

That is one beefy unit. Next step needs to be that unit that accepts any pic ring. If i spend that much cash i dont wanna be tied down to one ring but i understand why theyre doing it. They just need options for a bigger market

Like all of Ivey's products these are indeed substantial but very large. I had a set of Ivey rings and found them too big for me. I found the coldshot base (http://www.coldshotusa.com) much easier for me to use, I like clicks in my adjustments, and very repeatable. I have used the coldshot base on a 338 Edge and 375 CheyTac with no issues. I had the Ivey rings on the CheyTac and while they did work I never warmed up to the vernier adjustments.

YMMV
