It’s time to retire and sell The Woodchuck Den.....

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the nice note. Yes, we would love to see that transpire as we’ve made great progress promoting the small calibers for over three decades and the market is strong!

We have both The Terrific Twenties 5th and The Sensational Seventeens 6th manuals in stock ( $35.00 ppd each) and mail daily. You can call Monday through Friday or mail a check.

Thanks,

Todd

Todd : I have the Sensational Seventeens copyright 2007 and the Terrific Twenties copyright 2006. Is there newer copyright books available that you have added caliber information. What calibers would I be gaining?

Good fortune on you pending retirement, hope the new owners to as fine a job as you have with all of us that did obtain products, help, advice and all from you over the years. I know you were always good with me.

While I have never heard of them, good luck with retirement.

FYI when I retired I was busier than when I worked as a civvy for the military.

I just can’t thank everyone enough....it’s been quite a journey and only possible because of every one of you dedicated small caliber shooters!

As a special thanks I’m going to offer everyone on this great forum all of our remaining Small Caliber News magazine collection which contains approximately 27 issues for $99.00 ppd. US. Our normal price is $145 ppd. These are high quality print and now very limited quantity. You can mail a check or call in and we can get them out immediately. Although the magazine is no longer published the articles and information are still an outstanding resource and now being collected by serious small caliber shooters!

Here is a cool issue with Roy Chaney and his two large Alaskan Wolves shot with his 17 VLR ( 17 Tactical) using our 30gr. Gold bullets! I just talked with Roy last week and he shared a few of his Alaskan Wolf hunting adventures What a great guy!

Again a very special thanks to everyone !

I hate to see Todd stepping away from this, but there is always “the next chapter” I’m keeping hope there are more great things to come from Todd in the shooting world.
i just received my copy’s of the magazine and each one has very informative and interesting articles.

I still have every issue of SCN, refer to them often, sure do miss the magazine.

Another one gone, not as good, but still interesting was Varmint Hunter Magazine. Have all them too, both are good cold night winter reading.

Fantastic knowledge just recently got sensational 17 book and terrific 20 book having shoot 17 fireball and now 20 tactical here in the Uk and just purchasing a 22 br hope you enjoy your retirement thanks Todd pity we can’t get you magazines over in Uk

Well, that makes me sad. But, Todd, thanks for everything and best luck in your retirement. And thanks for starting me on my literary career.

A very special thanks to each and every one of you guys! It’s actually each one of you that helped make the small calibers a success.

It’s been a long journey...a quarter of a century here at The Woodchuck Den and writing long before that. Funny thing I’m still learning something new from you guys almost every week. Harold Miller ( a retired engineer) is a great example of that....what a great guy ...that’s why he is on our “Terrific Twenty” reloading manual. Harold thank you from the bottom of my heart!

As I wrote over thirty years ago that the small calibers have a very bright future in this complicated world it’s even more so today. With everyone’s help and support we can make them rock into the future!

You guys are all very special......thanks again.

I had read numerous short articles for years on small calibers. I got involved with the 17’s and 20’s just a half dozen years or so. I was given the book on 17’s a while back. I wanted the 20’s book as well. So this AM I called and ordered the 20’s along with what back issues he had left. Internet is a good thing, but I like a hard copy for most information.
Todd was a pleasure to talk to and a visit with.
Looking forward to my box of goodies.
Jeff
