It’s time to retire and sell The Woodchuck Den.....

High Noon

Silver $$ Contributor
After 25 years full time at The Woodchuck Den and 21 years previously in research and development, it is finally time to retire by the end of the year. First and foremost, I would like to thank the many loyal customers that I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and helping along the way! I will always be grateful.

I’d love to see The Woodchuck Den continue serving and supporting the shooting industry as well as help the small caliber community with the new owners. This opportunity includes The Woodchuck Den brand, manuals and magazines, website domain, all remaining inventory and the complete-case forming operation. I was asked by the Forum Boss to keep this short, so any serious inquiries can PM or call me at my office.
Again, a heartfelt thanks to everyone!

Good luck Todd!
Maybe you will have time to write another book on small calibers or update the one you put out a while back. You put out a lot of information that helps me still today.

I want to thank you Todd for your hard work and endless time in the field of developing the 20’s & 17’s calibers. You help me find my most favorite caliber of all….the 20 VarTarg. Good luck to you in your future endeavors.

No!

I hate to see this. You may not remember but you were a big help when I built a 20PPC, you spent a lot of time on the phone with someone you never had talked to prior and it was appreciated. Maybe we will get lucky and the future owner will care as much as you have. Your passion for small calibers changed a lot for those who share the interest. More barrels, more bullets and more dies, more options thanks to your efforts. Thanks again for everything.

Todd, best of luck to you and Linda.I hope you two get to enjoy driving hot rods more and just plain enjoying life.To say that you have been instrumental in the small caliber world is an understatement of the grandest scale.
Your writings in PS during the early 90s got me into building my first 17Mach1V and many other small calibers, for that I will be eternally grateful.Everytime I draw down on a pd with ole TK13 in 17HeBee I am reminded of you and all that you got started.
Thank you and all the best to you Todd!
Matt

Todd, the very best of luck to you buddy in regard to finally retiring. I highly recommend it!

And thanks for all the great advice in regard to the 20VT. I wish I had listened to you earlier, but in the 15 years I've been fielding mine, I'm reminded that YOU pushed me in the right direction. Enjoy your BR Pivot in retirement, and remember we all love varmint hunting pics here!

Oh, and I'll add that I've still got every issue of SCN, and refer to them often; great reading that we all miss. Great job Todd, we'll all miss you and TWCD, hope you find a worthy successor.

The selfish part of me wishes you were always there, but then the retired part of me sends Best Wishes on your next adventure. You deserve a long, happy, and healthy retirement, and our thanks for all your help with our small caliber interests!

Like many others have said, you were a great resource for the small caliber shooting community and will be missed. Good luck on the next stage in your life.

Best wishes for your retirement Todd. Thanks for your help ~ 10 years ago with my 20BR project. Am now on my second in the cartridge.

The 20 VT is one of my favorite cartridges if not my favorite and I appreciate all of your hard work. Best of luck to you in whatever you choose to do next!
