Here is my Christmas Eve Ohio whitetail. I think the zero degree range cold weather got him moving early.
He had been in a hell of a fight recently, with 3 bad punctures wounds from antlers.
One on the shoulder punched clear into the meat. One on the top of his back and another in the bottom of his neck all through the hide and into the meat.
I would have loved to seen that battle and the other buck.
I got two does earlier in the month so I’m done for the year.

Here's one I killed shotgun hunting years ago. All these Iowa deer were killed within a couple miles of my house. I always called this deer #9 cuz he ain't quite a 10......

It’s time for a little late season squirrel hunting. I only saw two this morning. The first one passed by without stopping and the second one offered me a 40 yard shot which is no problem at all for the trusty CZ 455.
