View attachment 1076561 View attachment 1076560 This young man needed this bow kill. He went all the way through rifle season without seeing a deer. Looks like he found one tonight. Justin Henry buck.

He shot it @ 4:30 and it went 100yds. He’s pretty happy tonight and can’t wait to show me tomorrow. Him and his wife are expecting their first child so it’s a good year for him!

I just scored this 7 point @112-7/8” not bad for a 7 pt.

Got this buck just before Thanks Giving. Two drop tines on the right. Bullet hole thru the main left beam from the previous day. I'll be getting a bunch of trail cam pics some day because a bow hunter has been watching this buck for a couple years. I'll print a few and hang them with him on the wall when I get him back this summer.
First kill with the 6.8 SPC upper I built a few years ago with a WMD Guns NiB-X upper, ARP 16" scout profile barrel. SSA ammo with Sierra 110gr Gameking.

Spend the weekend hunting varmints and shooting steel on a friends farm, the friend on whose farm we were asked that we take of 3 young Blesbuck rams for him for some meat for the workers.

One on the left was shot in the head with a 105gr RDF out of a 6Dasher, middle one was taken by me with my SLR and 108gr Hornady ELD-M rite behind the shoulder and the last one was shot by my Friend in the neck also with my rifle and a 108gr ELD-M.

All 3 were around 350y, obviously wasn't a "hunt" as much as a quick culling exercise but was nice to be out in the field after some animals.
