It's that time of year. Let's see those kills.

Picture sent to me, not sure of origin.
I read the article and old age has me again. I think it was Ohio. The guy holding the deer had been hunting it for 5 years and found it dead the middle of this month (January). He was hunting a very small piece of property next to a large acreage farm that did not allow any hunting. The buck was on camera at the small property in early October and then went MIA. The guy made the decision to hunt another property and shot a nice buck on that property. The owner of the large no hunting farm allows this guy to shed hunt there and he found the buck dead in a matter of minutes in the area where he had found his sheds prior years. The buck was probably dead since about the time he no longer appeared on camera at the smaller adjoining property.
I think it was 233".

That is by far the largest main frame 8 I’ve ever seen. Would like to see the trail cam pictures of this deer.

Got out for some coyotes this past Tuesday, not the best and not the worst day we've had. Temps have now dropped to -31 celsius a d will be colder soon. If a calm day comes i will head out again- cold makes them throw caution to the wind.

Nice looking coyotes, pretty pale, nice work!

He was a big old heavy deer, couldn't have been happier, got a shoukde

Thanks- a heavy good deer, good mass. Ended up doing a shoulder mount- had to convince the wife to let me do so.
Well she let you get it mounted; better be nice to her at Valentine's.
Looking at the deer's face, he doesn't appear to be that old. Good genetics in that area, keep hunting it for the big boys!
