Just curious, is there a transgender deer season in Wyoming? Then again maybe we shouldn't give the politicians any ideas since it'd be just another way to squeeze more $$$ out of hunters.

I had a dandy standing 10' in front of my truck some years back, I was standing on my horn for over a minute and he never budged.
The down side was, it was late season archery hunt at the time. Bow was at home and I was just leaving on a road trip.

Thank you! I practiced a lot and watched hours of bow kill compilations to study shot placement. The deer helped by presenting a perfect broadside shot well within my comfortable range.

This morning, opening day of muzzle loader in Tn. Very dear friend of mine made my day sitting next to me in the blind when he shot this one at 8:00. He's 80 (the guy with the beard).

Had a great hunt on Saturday and bagged a really nice mulie. I only draw every other year in this unit. Jumped him out of his bed in the dark timber and used the terrain to get ahead of him. Got within 75yds before pulling the trigger..
Looks like a really dark one. Congratulations!!! Matt

Nice hide on that one, way to go! I saw one like that hunting in NJ, one time during the summer. He was almost black.
