Issues with SSS

Having an issue getting some parts I ordered from Sharp Shooter Suuply.
I have sent several emails and there is no way to call.

This is the first time I have ever had an issue with them.

It has been 2 months now

Good luck. I talked to Lisa through email about sending my rifle in for a true and time and have it bedded. I first asked on 9/06/12 traded emails for awhile and was told I was on the list and she just needed to finalize a proposal for me to approve and I was wrote down for a November 2012 date and would have my rifle back in January 2013. The last time I heard from her was 9/18/12 telling me that everything was good to go and she would give a heads up when i was supposed to send my rifle in. Needless to say, she didn't get back to me. The rifle has a new owner and that's all she wrote. I have a friend that bought a complete SSS bench gun set up from them. I have not talked to him to see if he actually got it or not. I have bought some stuff from them in the past, but I would hate to gamble again IF I could find it somewhere else.

Lisa just sent me an email two weeks ago telling me they are scheduling for actions to be T & T. She wanted to know if i wanted to get on the list. I have several PTA's i wanted done but i passed on this round.

I can tell you from past experience that if you don't get on the list, there is not a chance of getting Fred to do it. The list just keeps getting longer. That's the way it is with any good gunsmith. Especially when they specialize in one brand and they are good.

Sent my rifle in to SSS for a T&T mid October. Added a LVT stock to the order about a month ago. I knew what I was getting into from reading countless other peoples experiences. Figured I didn't need it through the winter, and knew I had to be patient. Lisa was very nice on the phone and she always responds to my emails quickly. It's supposed to be finished by the end of the month.

I got an email Monday--still do not have a date on when i will get the parts though.

Good luck with them as they are overbooked. Some of their parts you can get through brownells.There is always stockade stocks!
