I agree. I think everybody should be welcome. I believe "I" know a little about pistols, and maybe I could have some info worthy of contributing. And I believe others do as well. I'm sure others know more than me, and we would like the chance to help somebody out if possible. So join the fray RazorBlade!

Heck no! There are several on this forum who know everything about everything. From slingshots to nuclear energy, no question goes unanswered.

As well, there are a few literary critics, at least one of which specializes in the review of funny papers.....between shooting sessions, of course.

"Just rifle shooters"? Nah, I never saw the random shotgun, handgun or air gun question dismissed here. But without a doubt this forum is (and should remain) primarily rifle-centric. There are specialty site and forums for shotgunning and the rest. I belong to, frequent and participate on several of them.

I don't buy into the "snobbery" tag. It's not about who's cool and who isn't. The danger is in allowing the site to become too diluted. "Hey let's welcome everybody in" or "The more the merrier" starts with the best intentions but once the camel has its nose in the tent, there's almost no turning back. Watched another site (specialized automotive in this case) allow things to spin out of control to the point where core members are leaving. The site completely lost it's original focus and has become a mess. I spoke with the owner/operater of the site and he acknowledged that he'd made a mistake and regretted it but now it is too late to pull the reins in.

It never occurred to me that a pistol reloading question would be considered taboo.
I don't think people here are that snobbish.
