Is there an off center flash hole fix?

I did a search here on my issue, but did find what I was really looking for.

I use a Sinclair universal decapping die on 223 cases and 357 cases. It has worked really well for several years. My 223 brass comes from a police range and it is mostly RP brass and sometimes LC brass. The police department always purchases new rounds to avoid lawsuits and other issues on reloads. This is a whole other story I won't go into.

The last batch of 223 rounds, RP, I was decapping destroyed my decapping pin and bent the rod slightly. I held 10-15 rounds at a time and looked at the primer holes and I could easily see some of the flash holes are not centered.

I tried to leave the rod slightly loose to see if it would help line up in the flash hole but it didn't.

Is there a tool that can be used to slightly open the flash hole up that may allow the decapping to line up better? All these rounds are used in varmint hunting so I'm not looking at benchrest extreme accuracy.

Lee makes a de-capping rod that works great, it's a little slow going but off center holes don't matter.
I have one and have used it on several occasions when one depriming a few rounds. For a large number of rounds, this would be very time consuming.

I have also used the Harvery depriming tool. Again it works, but very slow.

My fix would be the trashcan. Just my two cents. Tommy mc

Sort them and toss them out. Since you have range pickups you probably 100s if not 1000s of cases. I pickup 50-100 223 cases every time I go to the range. I have given gallon buckets of cases to my buddies. Hard to believe RP and LC cases are that bad. Never checked flash holes since I give all of the cases my friend.
