At a time when everything related to handloading is gone before it hits the shelves, and everything is back ordered, my local gun store has ~thirty of these things on the showroom floor, and there are growing moss.

After one year of backorders I got one at Cabela's..(in Connecticut)..only one left on the shelf. I had tried for 8 months to get the special RED WHITE & BLUE one but they made only 2,013 of them and they were gone in a flash. The proceeds from those went to a US veteran organization. I can not recall which one...Wounded Warriors, DAV,Paralyzed Vets,,one of them. I commend RCBS for doing that and it was done without much fanfare.
Old fashion or not my new Summit is mounted right next to my A-4 Big Max. Why? I wanted it.

I too would have liked the "Patriotic" model but no joy. Just got my new Summit and installed it where my old Rock chucker sat. Old RC-II had a good life and probably has a lot left in it but I wanted something new and the Summit appealed to me.

A solid press and the cases I've sized so far have had between .0002" and .0005" runout using an inexpensive Hornady CG ND sizing die. The Summit also doesn't want to lift the rear of my bench off the floor when sizing a tough case.

It's a heavy sucker at 22 lbs and should last forever. Also nice that it's $100 less expensive than a Co-Ax. RCBS also has a kit so you can use the Wilson Hand Dies on it without having to have a separate arbor press. With the short handle the summit has a nice feel when seating.

The local shops haven't been able to keep them on the shelves. Apparently others like it too.

Cabela's has the Patriot in stock and on sale. I got mine, and can't wait to use it.

Placed my order this AM with Cabela's. It is the correct one which is RCBS #9292. Now I have to sell the one I purchased last month. I wanted the Patriotic one and it's on the way.
