Is the Berger 185 BTLR target bullet same as Juggernaught OTM Tactical

This is such great news.
Now, when people ask me what I shoot, I can tell them a special 184.97 grain, length to ogive sorted, Berger Jauggernaut OTM Tactical Long Range Boattail bullet, in neck turned Lapua Palma cases, with a Wolf Small Rifle Magnum primer, and 43.9 grains of Hodgen Varget lot number 3128762. I used to have to add "out of a Krieger 5r, 1-10" twist, standard Palma countoured 30 inch barrel chambered with the 95 Palma reamer, but with special throating, screwed into a Barnard P action, bedded into a McGee F-TR laminated stock, all topped with a Nightforce 12-42x Benchrest scope". Not anymore.

After hearing the word Jauggernaut, they will be so lost, they will never ask again! ;D

But, You did not tell them the F.P.S. or the actual conditions and day when you shot. LOL. I shoot the 185 Jugg and really like it.

Another word of support that they're the exact same bullet. It's simply marketing, there are no differences between the two that wouldn't also potentially be found between different Lot #s of 185 Juggernauts. At one point, I had an email response from Berger to this very question that I would post for non-believers, but I can't seem to find it now.

Danny, thanks for your advice!

I intend to use the 185gr. on F-Class F/TR, so it will be single loaded.

For magazine I use the excellent Berger 175gr. LRBT up to 1.000 meters and it arrives on target just fine.

LRCampos.

At a distance of 1.000 meters, I would expect no less ;).

FWIW - if you have any interest in the 185 Hybrids, they will work just fine with a freebore optimized for the 185 Juggernaut. I've been shooting them in an F-TR rifle at ~2780 fps with H4895. This rifle has a freebore of 0.180", which is really at the long end of the spectrum. A freebore anywhere in the range of 0.150" to 0.180" should work for either one. The .180" freebore also seems to be just about perfect for the 200.20X bullet.
